Machine Embroidery 101: Getting Started

Machine embroidery is a real perk of home sewing. Being able to do your own personalizing, monogramming and stitched designs really adds a special touch to things you make or add extra style to store-bought items. For this sewing basics class, we will look at how to get started with your sewing and Embroidery Machine and creating an applique. You will need to bring your machine & any tools or items that came with it, including your manual.
Things we'll cover: All the Basics of Using Your Machine, Common Materials & Tools, Stitches & More!
Monday, October 16th: 6-9pm
$30 plus some supplies
~ Your Machine, Hoops, Accessories & Manual
~ Embroidery Thread (brown, green and orange) & Bobbin
~ Fat quarters or 1/4 yard or scraps for pumpkin
~ Item to put pumpkin on (tea towel, onesie, etc)
We will have scissors, measuring tape and other items for you to use during class.
Plus any supplies you purchase for this class will earn you points in our Niche Rewards program!
Adult sewists are welcome to this class. No prior knowledge of machine embroidery is required. Come one, come all!
