Serger Basics: Children's A-line Dress

Sewing with knits can be daunting.  This class is meant to take the nerves out of working with knits on a regular sewing machine!  We will cover tips for sewing knits on your serger, including neck binding and a rolled hem. This pattern is by Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom and covers kids sizes 4-12.

Supplies:

~ Fabric = 1 1/2 yards of knit

~ Serger Thread

Prerequisites:

Adult sewist are welcome to this class.  A basic knowledge of using your serger is required for this class, including threading it. Don't know how to do these things? Take our Serger 101 class!  Call the studio 477-3810 for more details.
