Embroidery 101: Getting Started

Machine embroidery is a real perk of home sewing.  Being able to do your own personalizing, monogramming and stitched designs really adds a special touch to things you make or add extra style to store-bought items.  For this sewing basics class, we will look at how to get started with your sewing and Embroidery Machine and creating an applique.  You will need to bring your machine & any tools or items that came with it, including your manual.  

Things we'll cover: All the Basics of Using Your Machine, Common Materials & Tools, Stitches & More!

Tuesday, March 20th: 6-9pm

$35 plus some supplies


~ Your Machine, Hoops, Accessories & Manual

~ Embroidery & Bobbin Thread

~ Fat quarters or 1/4 yard or scraps for bunny

~ Item to put bunny on (tea towel, onesie, etc)

~ Stabilizer

We will have scissors, measuring tape and other items for you to use during class. 

Prerequisites: Adult sewists are welcome to this class.  No prior knowledge of machine embroidery is required. Come one, come all!
