Cricut 101: Getting Started

Have a Cricut  still sitting in the box? Have you taken it out and are confused as to what to do next? This class will teach you how to use the Cricut program! 

For this class, we will navigate the program, giving you a good foundation to build your skills and start tackling projects. We will be walking button by button through Cricut Design Space, covering all the basics including welding, fonts and images, Bluetooth set-up, uploading images and svg files, learning the difference between adhesive and heat transfer vinyl, image sizing and more! Plus you will get to create a vinyl monogram project allowing you to practice creating and cutting with your Cricut with both htv and adhesive vinyl!

Thursday, April 4th: 6-9pm

Tuesday, May 14th: 6-9pm

$30 with some supplies

~ Please bring your laptop, cricut, mat and tools. 

~ One sheet of solid or glitter htv; one sheet of solid adhesive

~ Transfer tape

~ Fine point tweezer or weeding tool

~ Items to place your vinyl on

We will have scissors, measuring tape and other items for you to use during class.

Previous Experience:

All adults and teens 16 and up are welcome.  This class is perfect for anyone who is interested in getting started in using their Cricut. Please download and install Cricut Design Space prior to class.  If you aren't sure how, please come 15 minutes early to class and we can help.  If you are using an iPad, please ensure your Cricut is Bluetooth capable or you have the wireless Bluetooth adapter.
